- ATTENTION LICENSED AUDIOLOGISTS:
The California Department of Health Care Services (DHCS), Children's Medical Services (CMS) Branch, and California Newborn Hearing Screening Program (NHSP) invite you to attend the Infant Audiology Symposium: Establishing Guidelines for Care on July 30-31, 2009. This workshop includes some of California's top audiologists discussing auditory neuropathy, infant diagnostic practices, and treatment for infants with hearing loss, as well as a break-out session specific for peer collaboration and participation in revision of the California Infant Audiology Assessment Guidelines. - Effective August 22, 2008, the new regulations pertaining to the clinical supervisor
qualifications will take effect. Details regarding the final text and the implementation
of the regulations can be found at

- Effective February 1, 2008, the Report of Clinical Practicum form must be mailed
directly from the college or university.
- Effective March 1, 2007 ALL applicants will be required
to submit fingerprints with the initial application.
- Effective June 1, 2007 ALL documents must be originals
sent directly from the issuing entity.
