Required Professional Experience Packet
(FOREIGN GRADUATES)
THE FOLLOWING ITEMS MUST BE SUBMITTED AND APPROVED BY THE BOARD:
- $60 application fee (payable to S.L.P.A.B.)
- Application for Licensure
- Original Transcript Evaluation Report: Transcripts must be evaluated by an approved evaluation service. It must be a detailed course by course evaluation report. The report must include detailed information pertaining to the clinical practicum hours (clinical practicum course title, number of hours and grade obtained each semester). This report must be mailed directly to the Board.
If you require a letter for VisaScreen you must also include the following:
- A written request for the letter including the name and address of the recipient agency
- $10.00 processing fee (payable to S.L.P.A.B.)
THE ITEMS LISTED BELOW MUST BE SUBMITTED AND APPROVED BY THE BOARD, PRIOR TO BEGINNING THE RPE:
- Application for Temporary Required Professional Experience License
- RPE Temporary License Acknowledgment Statement (signature page only)
- Copy of your social security card
- Page 2 of the Live Scan form completed by
the live scan operator
(Fingerprints must be cleared through Department of Justice (DOJ) and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) before temporary license may be issued)
THE REMAINING ITEMS LISTED BELOW MUST BE SUBMITTED WITHIN THE FIRST 90 DAYS OF BEGINNING THE RPE:
- NTE score in the field for which licensure is sought, with passing score of 600 or higher sent directly from the examination service to the Board office
- School calendar (if working in a public school setting)
- Upon completion of your RPE, the Required Professional Experience Verification form must be completed and submitted within 10 working days.
